A facial hair transplant is a single-day procedure in which hair is taken from the back of your head and transplanted to your face. It can give you a fuller beard and mustache, or more definition to the facial hair you already have.

Dr. Holt looks at your facial hair and goals and designs a beard line and density that suit your face.
Donor hair collection
On procedure day the areas are numbed, and hair is collected from the back of your head by FUE or the FUT strip method.
Graft placement
Dr. Holt places each graft at the natural angle and direction of facial hair, so it blends with your own.
Recovery and growth
Most patients resume light activities by the second day. New growth shows from about three months, with the full result at about a year.
